Hi y'all.

My name is Brynn.  I'm a queer Minnesotan woman in her late-30s with a passion for social justice, dogs, reading, art, music, fun glasses, queer culture, words, puzzles, and all things colorful.  I'm a textbook INFJ, an enneagram type 9 (with a very strong 1 wing), and a highly sensitive person.  I work in secondary education in an urban high school, helping students explore and plan for their future career. It is a job that I love and feel very much called to do. Additionally, I live each day battling major depressive disorder, ADHD, and generalized anxiety disorder with tendencies towards obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I have created this space to document and share my mental health journey.  My hope is that you will find that through reading my stories, you will be able to understand what life with mental illness can look like, how I cope, and to let you know that you are not alone if you, too, struggle with mental illness. I have also experienced multiple traumatic losses since January 2022, which has completely changed me to my core. I plan to share more about my grief journey in this space as well.

The stigma of mental illness has hurt me in so many ways, and I grow increasingly passionate about ending this stigma each day.  This site is one of the ways I can contribute to end the stigma of mental illness.

Thank you so much for visiting!
